Tacony Manufaturing - How a Vacuum is Made
The Big IdeaThe Big Idea: Engineers work with the ideas and needs compiled from talking to consumers to design a machine that is efficient, durable and looks good, too.

Injection MoldingInjection molding: A mold is made and tiny plastic pellets are melted to form different parts of the vacuum

PaintingPainting: Some models get an automotive-quality paint job before they are assembled. The vacuum parts go through paint booth and are hand-painted by our talented crew. In addition to the metallic shine, some components receive a hot stamp displaying graphics or logos.

AssemblyAssembly: All of the parts come together in numerous assembly lines where the crew checks and doubles checks the work of the team member before and after them to ensure each step in the assembly process is correct.

Product TestingProduct testing: Each machine that comes off the line is tested to make sure all components are working properly especially specialty features like dirt sensors and belt protecting Hall sensors. Some machines are chosen at random to be tested by our Research & Development team to make sure the vacuums continue to exceed the life expectancy goals established for each product.

PackagingPackaging: The vacuums are carefully wrapped and packaged in boxes ready for shipping
